take the lead

Take the Lead is all about connecting working women with female role models. The program works like group mentoring -- enabling women across Australia and throughout the world to access the leadership experiences and advice of women leaders who've shattered the glass ceiling.

Utilising round table discussions, teleconferences and audio CDs, the program enables participants to tap into the collective knowledge of recognized woman leaders (a CEO, CEO’s direct report or entrepreneur) and experts supporting the advancement of women in leadership. If you're finding it difficult to access women leaders in your workplace, this is the solution for you!

When you join Take the Lead you'll be able to tap into a range of women leaders from all industries and sectors, and to learn from their experiences. Can't make the round tables or participate in the teleconference? Don't worry, an audio CD is distributed each month with recordings of the group mentoring sessions so you can listen at your leisure.

With the opportunity to submit questions in advance of the event or live in round tables and teleconferences, the possibilities for personal and professional development are endless.

Feedback from participants:
"I was delighted when my expectations of a Take the Lead event were exceeded. To meet the Chief Operating Officer of a multi billion dollar company in an informal, open and (importantly) small forum was inspirational (to say the least!). Successful, female role models are relatively sparse and access even harder. Well done sphinxx!" Jacoline Bekker, Director, Grant Samuel

"sphinxx has enabled me to meet leaders in the community, such as Karen Moses, and that is why it is such an enriching experience. Karen candidly shared her personal challenges as well as her experiences within the commercial arena which revealed her as not only a strong individual but a continually evolving person who is not restricted by her gender. " Christine Sanderson, Associate Director, Westpac Institutional Bank

"In addition to her obvious outstanding business acumen, Robyn Watts inspired us with her resolve and tenacity. Being involved in the Take The Lead series as an active member is a real privilege." Noelene Dawes, Unlocking Potential

"I found Denise Aldous to be a very personable, intelligent women with amazing insight in to the world of women in business. I certainly walked away with a few pearls of wisdom!" Amber Burgess, Corrs Chambers Westgarth

"My first Take the Lead was with Karen Moses and I was was very impressed. Not only was it great to have such direct insight into Karen Moses and her career journey, but it was great to hear the different questions and insights from the other Take the Lead members as well. That's when the real learning takes place. I can't wait for the next one." Lauren Ayers, Integro Learning

"Julia Palmer had fantastic knowledge on networking. Her tips were so practical, and her responses to my questions could very quickly be put into action. Well done sphinxx on organising this event." Christine Mathew, Accounts Manager - Toorang VIC
