Who's sharing at Ascend?

Thursday, May 06, 2010

The theme of the May Ascend days is “rethink your approach”. And we mean all the angles of your approach. We’ve organised a great line up of speakers to help you master multiple aspects of your approach and want to introduce you to them now to get you ready! If you haven’t registered yet there are still a few places in each city.

Ronni Kahn is the 2010 Australian of the Year: Local Hero and she’ll be talking about new solutions to old problems. With her innovative charity OzHarvest, not only is she feeding Australia’s hungry, she’s also saving tones of excess good food that would otherwise be wasted. And her outlook, achievements and life have earned her a place on the 100 Most Influential People in Sydney List.

Denni Francisco on the other hand, is from Melbourne. She built a multi-million dollar business in only 3 years, and trains people in how to work effectively. She focuses on achieving peak performance, without stress. Her Superworking program is a smash hit success that is well worth the investment – and at Ascend you’ll get a look at exactly how brilliant the program is.

Sandy Blackburn-Wright stepped outside her comfort zone in 1988-2003 to work in South Africa during one of the nations most tumultuous and significant periods. She will be sharing on the need to step outside your own comfort zone at Ascend. She has seen and led grass roots change campaigns and now applies her incredible life experiences to being the Head of Organisational Mentoring, Group Sustainability and Community Involvement at Westpac.

Kirsty Spraggon is the relationship building guru, who is bringing her dynamic and successful strategies and approaches to Ascend, to train you in how to connect for business success. She’s in the top 1% of the RE/MAX’s global network of sales people and has exemplary people skills and emotional intelligence to share with participants.

Penny Burke will be speaking on marketing this brand new you, by knowing what you’re famous for, what your true point of difference is and how to get people to commit to this image and promise of you. She will challenge your thinking to understand what really makes you and your work valuable.

Just one of these speakers would radically shake up your approach, 5 in a row will set you up to completely rethink your approach and step up your work like never before.

For those of you who haven’t yet registered for Ascend, there is still just time to squeeze in for next weeks Ascend development days in Adelaide (on the 12th) and Sydney (on the 14th).

You can also still register for Brisbane (18th of May) and Melbourne (28th of May).
