Spotlight on the leadership journey for women - CPA Australia networking event - book here

Tuesday, August 16, 2011

If you have women on your team, you work in the finance sector - or you'd like to do business with people who do - you might like to attend this networking event to be held by CPA Australia in Sydney on 25th August.  In this interactive session, you will hear from a panel of influential businesswomen - including me! - who are passionate about the advancement of women in the work place. Be entertained and inspired by their individual stories and their leadership journeys.

The panel featuring Alicia Fortinberry, Suzanne Mercier, and me, will be chaired by Ruth Medd of Women on Boards who'll keep us on track as we share our ideas and experience on:

+ the need for more women in leadership roles, including the current regulatory environment
+ the importance of gender diversity in leadership
+ how successful women can increase their professional standing and accessibility to talent programs
+ the debate on merit versus quotas

This session promises to provide you with a comprehensive look at the current state of play for women in the workforce.
