Here are two dates that every Australian leader must mark IN INK in your diaries: 17 May in Melbourne and 19 May in Sydney.  These are the dates that sphinxx is bringing Avivah Wittenberg-Cox to Australia, together with The Growth Faculty, and we want you to be part of this ground breaking educational event.

Who is Avivah Wittenberg-Cox?

Avivah is CEO of the leading gender consultancy 20-first, a world authority on leadership, gender and business.  She is also the Founder and Honorary President of the European Professional Womens Network, author of HOW Women Mean Business, A Step by Step Guide to Profiting from Gender Balanced Business and co-author of the best-selling Why Women Mean Business: Understanding the Emergence of Our Next Economic Revolution.

Avivah has had articles and interviews published in publications such as the International Hearld Tribune, Harvard Business Review and the Financial Times. In 2007, ELLE Magazine recognised her as one of the top 40 Women Leading Change.

Afternoon Intensive Workshop

In addition to the morning session, an afternoon intensive workshop limited to only 25 delegates will take place.  Places to this session are strictly limited and sphinxx members are encouraged to register early to secure your place.

"Avivah is the global authority on gender balance. If you want to understand the benefits women will bring to your business today and how you can create a workplace that women thrive in for the future, then you must hear firsthand what Avivah has managed to achieve in multinational organisations around the world. You will walk away with an entirely new perspective on the role we all play in finding and keeping the best women on our teams."  Jen Dalitz - The SheEO, sphinxx and Australia's thought leader on gender balance

----------------------------------------

Having had the pleasure of working with Avivah last year in Kuala Lumpur at The Women’s Summit 2010, I am absolutely delighted to partner with The Growth Faculty in bringing her all the way from Paris to share her experiences with Australia’s business leaders.  I’m equally confident this will be the highlight of every employer and diversity consultants’ professional development calendar for 2011 and encourage you to get on board and register your leadership team to attend this event as places are strictly limited at both the Melbourne and Sydney events.

This is the first of a number of exciting initiatives that sphinxx has planned with The Growth Faculty to keep you ahead of the curve.  I trust you will support our endeavours to bring the world’s leading thinkers on gender balance to our side of the world!  And if you have ideas on other experts we should get on board, drop me a line and share your thoughts.

So what do you think... will I see you there? And what do you think about Avivah’s tour Down Under?  Post your comments here on the blog and you'll go in the running to win a complementary pass to attend.
