As a single person I worked full time plus overtime, took night classes 4 nights a week, community work on Saturdays and bible study sundays most weeks.I never felt this was unbalanced. As a mother I worked full time for some years but recently cut down from 3 days to 2 days/week for 'work life balance'. This is not something that can be measured by hours or money. It is individual and unique to each person. Our circumstances ebb and flow through life. They are changeable and dynamic, like water in a deep stream. Perhaps 'Work life balance' is all in the mind.
